Rafael Nadal Wins Again at French Open

Nadal Defeats Djokovic in French Open Quarterfinal

Rafael Nadal demonstrated once again why he is the greatest player in French Open history by beating longtime rival Novak Djokovic in a late-night battle on Tuesday. The "King of Clay" won 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) to reach the semifinals at Roland Garros. With the victory, Nadal extended his head-to-head record against Djokovic in Grand Slams to 11-8.

Nadal's Dominance Continues

Nadal, who is seeking a record-extending 14th French Open title, has now won 108 matches at the tournament. He is the only player to have won more than 100 matches at a single Grand Slam. Djokovic, meanwhile, was bidding to become the first man to win all four Grand Slams twice in the Open Era, but he was unable to overcome Nadal's dominance on clay.

Djokovic's Disappointment

Djokovic was disappointed with his defeat, but he praised Nadal's performance. "Rafa was just too good today," Djokovic said. "He played a great match. I had my chances, but I didn't take them. He deserved to win."

Nadal's Next Opponent

Nadal will face Alexander Zverev in the semifinals on Friday. Zverev, who is the defending champion at Roland Garros, defeated Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets in the quarterfinals.
