Bronny James Falling Down Draft Boards

Bronny James Falling Down Draft Boards

Struggles at USC Could Hurt Draft Stock

Pre-Draft Workouts Not Enough to Impress Scouts

The eldest son of LeBron James, Bronny, averaged 142 points, 55 rebounds, 24 assists, and 18 steals as a senior for Sierra Canyon in California. Despite his impressive high school stats, Bronny James might have to wait a little while to hear his name called during the 2024 NBA Draft.

The former Trojans guard garnered endless attention from scouts and fans alike during his time in college. He was widely considered to be one of the top prospects in the country coming out of high school. However, his production at USC was modest, which has caused his draft stock to fall.

Bronny has also been linked to the Phoenix Suns, which is the only other team aside from the Lakers that he has taken part in a pre-draft workout. However, it is unclear if the Suns are seriously considering drafting him.

Given his modest college production, James isn't regarded as one of the draft's top prospects. He is currently projected to be a late first-round or early second-round pick.

Bronny James, who was listed at 6-foot-4 on USC's roster but measured at 6 feet 1 1/2 inches at the combine, announced his intention of entering the 2024 NBA Draft in April. He is expected to be one of the most closely watched prospects in the draft.
