Boston Bruins icon Jack Edwards announced his retirement at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season. Edwards has been the Bruins' play-by-play announcer for 33 years, during which time he has become a beloved figure among Bruins fans.
In a statement released by the Bruins, Edwards said, "I have been truly blessed to spend 33 years as the voice of the Boston Bruins. It has been an incredible journey, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have shared it with all of you."
The Bruins also announced a number of enhanced fan experiences for the 2024 season. These include new seating options, a wider variety of concessions, and a more interactive game-day experience. The Bruins are also introducing a new mobile app that will provide fans with access to tickets, merchandise, and other exclusive content.
